Astral of Dreamlight Creations is a self-taught artist From Flint, MI that has had her artwork displayed across the world wide web for several years now. The ultra vivd colors in her work and her surreal style has delighted art enthusiasts everywhere. A freelance artist & designer Astral often is described as a visionary artist, her positively charged works envoke emotion through light, form and color, and convey the pure expression that she experiences during the creation process. Astral has been involved in one artistic project or another her whole life but it wasn't until her work met a PC that she began to express it fully.
Delving into the vast world of computer based graphics nine years ago, Astral learned to illustrate her inner visions through countless hours of work and determination. The art programs that she predominantly uses are Bryce 5, Poser 5, View D' Espirit 4 & Corel Photo Paint 11. Bryce 5 is a 3D landscaping, modeling, animation and rendering software. Poser 5 is a 3D character animation and figure design tool. View d'Espirit 4 is a 3D studio that renders and animates ultra realistic scenery. Corel Photo Paint 11 is an image creation and photo imaging software. The past nine years of Astral's artistic career has consisted mainly of a digital medium, 'The incredibly rich color palettes, the infinate canvases and the warm seductive lighting that is possible with digital painting and modeling provides me with an artistic freedom that I find intoxicating' says Astral.
